The first Reborn Movie is complete. It's a little tribute to my/our time in World of Warcraft and to us coming together as a guild over the past months.

Beta Registration Open!

WAR Beta registration is now open. Please click here to access the application.

Please note: This application is seperate from the guild application (which I have already submitted last month). This one is for individual applications and everbody should fill this out. Make sure your newsletter e-mail matches your beta application e-mail. You have to be at least 18 years old if you want to apply.

WE ARE REBORN!

It is hard to believe it has only been 4 months since our departure from WoW. Reborn has gone through some dramatic changes over the last little while and after going through dozens of new applications, trial memberships and roster adjustments, today we arrived at our final 30.

To say that I am pleased with this group would be an understatement. It is easily the most active group (especially considering there isn't a game to play yet) and most experienced group of gamers I've ever been a part of.

I am proud to present you the 30 founding members of Reborn (Warhammer Online Edition)

WAR IS COMING!

Good News: The April Newsletter is out!

Bad News: "We have made the decision to move our ship date for the US and Europe to the first quarter of 2008. (Release dates for Asia will be announced at a later date.) Since our acquisition by EA, we have been afforded many wonderful development opportunities and we plan to take full advantage of everything that is available. This includes taking several additional months to make the best MMORPG possible."

D'oh! - Well not really bad news. Patience my friends - At least they'll make sure to get it right!

Pre Order Anybody?

This isn't exactly fresh of the press and November 1st is certainly not carved in stone either but for those who are curious, EBGames has WAR on their pre-order list. I for one put down my $20.00 deposit to make sure I get my copy.

Not much else to report at this time. We're still anxiously waiting for BETA invites to go out. Until then, it's back to WoW (Waiting on Warhammer).

'Ere we go!

After a couple of days of hard work on the website we finally completed the transition from WoW to W.A.R and are now ready to welcome new recruits.

Players interested in Warhammer Online and Reborn should head to our forums and read up on what we and the game are all about.

Reborn goes to W.A.R

To say the last couple of months were eventful for us would be an understatement. The initial hype of the Burning Crusade was quickly replaced by a sad realization that Blizzard had hit the reset button on World of Warcraft.

Accomplishements that took a couple of years to achieve were swiftly wiped out. We're not going to turn this into a discussion on itemization. Obviously many will love that Burning Crusade puts everybody back on a level playing field but others won't. For us it raised the question whether it is worth investing time into a game that may go that route everytime a new expansion hits.

Thankfully, the good folks at Mythic make the decision easy. Judging by early BETA impressions W.A.R does not only look to be a worthy successor in terms of gameplay, but it also finally introduces one of the most successful and most beloved fantasy franchises to the MMO genre. Add a RvR system that promises to be both deep and meaningful and there is no reason to look back.

Good-bye World of Warcraft. It has been a great couple of years...

Reborn is now a Warhammer Online Guild.
